Now in its fifteenth successive year, the Annual Conference of the BPPA is the largest, most prestigious and longest-running graduate philosophy conference in the UK. The conference is open to all postgraduate researchers and aims to represent all areas and traditions of philosophy in order to facilitate a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas. It also serves as a forum for intellectual exchange and co-operation, professional planning and development, and provides an excellent opportunity for graduate researchers to establish contacts and form networks with their peers in an engaging and welcoming environment.
The 2011 event was held at the University of Reading from 22-25 September 2011. The three and a half day event allowed time for considered reception of sixteen postgraduate papers and responses, and four keynote addresses. Proceedings will be published in a Special Issue of Philosophical Writings.
