Registration

Hi, and thanks for coming to register with us. The BPPA is dedicated to promoting postgraduate philosophy in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Membership of the BPPA website is private and open to:

• Postgraduate philosophers at an educational institution in the UK or Republic of Ireland and those who have completed a postgraduate philosophy course at an educational institution in the UK or Republic of Ireland within the last three years.
• Anyone planning to become a philosophy postgraduate at an educational institution in the UK or Republic of Ireland within the next year.

NB. Postgraduates in disciplines other than philosophy are welcome to register; all you need is an interest in philosophy! (An interest in philosophy may be scientifically confirmed by checking for the laughter response upon viewing Monty Python’s contributions to philosophy here and here.)

Before you register, please note:

• In order to confirm your eligibility please register using the email address provided to you by your institution. If you do not have an institutional email address, or prefer not to use it, please register as normal and then contact us to confirm your eligibility.
• Membership of this site is restricted to current and recent (i.e. within the last 3 years) postgraduates with an interest in philosophy. The BPPA reserves the right to close your account if you do not meet these eligibility criteria. If you are a prospective postgraduate student, please contact the BPPA as above.

NB. Your email address and other contact details will not be made public. In order to confirm the eligiblity of our members, we need to collect your email address. This address will not be made public anywhere on this site, nor passed to any third parties. You can read more about our Privacy Policy by following the link at the bottom of the page.
